Q: What vaccinations are required?

To keep the dogs in our care safe and healthy, we require proof of vaccination for rabies, distemper/parvo, and Bordetella. We also highly recommend the canine influenza vaccinations.

Q: Should I bring my dog’s food?

Yes, we encourage you to bring your dog’s food to keep them on the diet they’re used to, and please bag and label each serving separately.

Q: Do you provide bedding?

Of course. Every suite at Pocatello Pet Lodge comes with a raised cot on which we put fluffy and clean blankets. You’re welcome to bring a bed from home if your pet has a favorite!

Q: I’m nervous about leaving my dog somewhere new. How do I know they will be well cared for?

At Pocatello Pet Lodge, we’re pet parents and animal lovers just like you. It’s important to us that all of our guests can think of us as a home-away-from-home where they’re comfortable, cared for, and loved. Every team member is thoroughly trained to ensure a healthy and rewarding experience for your pets, every time.

Q: Do you accept special needs pets?

Absolutely. We’re able to accommodate many kinds of special needs including vision/hearing impairment, geriatric, medical needs and many others. Please give us a call to discuss how we can accommodate your pet.

Q: Can you administer medication?

Yes, we can administer any oral or topical medication. We just ask you please bring them in their original containers with clear written instructions. The administration of medication costs $1 per dose, but we have a TLC Package designed for senior and special needs pets, which includes unlimited administration of medication.

Q: When can I drop off/pick up my dog?

Please feel free to drop off and pick up your pet any time during our regular business hours.
